You are going to watch and hopefully, Tiger and Manning have some good one-liners.
Brady is going to be generic.
Here is the story.
Sources tell The Action Network that Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson are in the final stages of planning golf showdown in May, and the second go-around comes with a twist: Tom Brady and Peyton Manning will be joining the duo for a 2v2 match.
A Turner Sports spokesperson confirmed to The Action Network the match will be aired live on TNT with surrounding content on BR Live. It’s unclear the exact date, but rumored dates are May 15 and May 24. All proceeds from the event will go to multiple charities, including COVID-19 relief.
The matchup is believed to be Tiger/Brady vs. Phil/Peyton.
The course has not been finalized, but one source pointed to Medalist Golf Club in Hobe Sound, Fla, as the likely destination for the event. Woods is a member at the Medalist, which is a popular private club among PGA TOUR pros.
