Before the college football season started, Alabama QB Tua Tagovailoa was seen as the projected #1 pick. He got injured and LSU QB Joe Burrow became a star so he more than likely won’t be the first player drafted in the upcoming draft.
He’s still a projected top 5 pick and even has the Patriots, who lost future HOF QB Tom Brady to the Buccaneers, wanting to make a move for him.
According to Ben Volin of the Boston Globe, the Pats making a move for Tua is a definite possibility.
Losing Brady then getting Tua would be an ideal move for the Pats but they’d have to give up a lot for it to happen.
