In an effort to limit the spread of COVID-19, facilities across the NFL are shut down until further notice. Offseason programs are in line to be either postponed or canceled altogether, forcing every player across the league to improvise, and prepare for the upcoming 2020 season on their own.
But the impact potential of zero offseason team workouts isn’t set to just impact the bodies of players around the league, it’s set to hit their wallets as well.
The issue is these workout bonuses are included to try to make the contracts better because they aren’t guaranteed. If they were guaranteed they wouldn’t be needed.
