Everything became real for the sports world on March 11th.
When the NBA postponed the Jazz-Thunder game right before tip it was over. All-star center Rudy Gobert tested positive for COVID-19 and while it’s not his fault, it’s the way he behaved before that had people up in arms. From touching mics to messing with players belongings, which may have been why Donovan Mitchell contracted the virus
Amidst reports of a rift between the two Jazz star players, point guard Mike Conley has a different viewpoint.
“Between Donovan and Rudy, if they feel a certain way about each other, which I honestly don’t think that’s the case at all, they’re grown men and they handle it,” Conley told Andy Larsen of the Salt Lake Tribune.
“They go out there, compete and try to win. You’d never notice on our end.”
Only time will tell.
