“Oh yeah, oh yeah. I went into my drawer and pulled out my long list of things to say, I’ve got a lot of things to say about Wilder. But you don’t knock a man when he’s down, also. And that was at the top of the list. I have to stand by those principles,
This is the moment Joshua has been waiting for quite honestly. Before being completely embarrassed by Tyson Fury, Wilder was undefeated and noted as one of the most feared men within the Heavyweight division.
The British champ followed those comments by falling back from his principles stating,
“I think me and Wilder, as I say, are cut from a different cloth. He’s what we call… it begins with a ‘b’ and ends with a ‘h’. I’m not like that, I’m more of a man. I don’t really get on the internet talking crap.
Obviously, Joshua has been saving his ammunition for this moment. Wilder coming off of the first defeat of his professional career, still is the bigger name in the sport. Joshua, who is not known for calling out fighters may be trying to call out Wilder because let’s face it; At the end of the day Joshua needs a big name fight going forward.
