As we’ve seen in the “Last Dance” on ESPN, Michael Jordan is no stranger to making bets and wagers on just about anything, and a rookie Jamal Crawford found that out the hard way.
During Jordan’s time as a Washington Wizard, he and a 21-year-old Crawford were having a three-point shooting contest. Crawford challenged Jordan to small $1,000-$5,000 shooting bets but kept losing. Jordan then decided to up the stakes.
Jordan would bet his Ferrari and Crawford would bet his brand new Mercedes.
Jordan then proceeded to 5 for 5, win Crawford’s Mercedes, remove his personalized plates, and then drive off in it.
It’s a cold game, especially when you’re playing against Michael Jordan.
