Lisa appeared on Instagram live to respond to Usman’s accusations. She said, “Let me tell you what it boils down to. That boils down to millions of dollars in Nigeria.”
She was asked why she wasn’t sending him his money. Lisa said Usman defamed him in press interviews and believes is a legit scammer. Lisa said she would have believed Usman if they never did the show. She accuses him of having a big ego that got out of control after the show aired.
Lisa agreed Usman was owed money but only after she took out her cut for the expenses she paid. She said, “this Nigeria man thinks money is free.” She promised to return his money if he made a public apology to her.
As The Blast previously reported, earlier this week, Usman accused Lisa of refusing to send him $26,000 he was owed. He wrote to his fans, “I’m a good Nigerian who sacrificed a lot to make someone happy including losing my job, but today I was called scammer by the same person I make happy I wont how scammer can be on tv always and on social media relating with big politicians and some prominent people, after calling ME n word, calling scammer and now I have been blackmailed with my own money.”
The money drama comes as the two have been going through a nasty public breakup. In the past couple of weeks, Lisa has accused Usman of being a “romance scammer.” She told fans Usman never loved her and only used her for fame. Lisa believes he wanted to use TLC and the show as a platform to launch his music career.
Previously, Usman has accused Lisa of calling him the N-word and says the producers behind “90 Day Fiancé” decided not to include footage during a Tell-All episode.
