An old article from the website The Concordian has resurfaced that Beethoven could be black.
The article is dated back to 2015, and it states the description of Beethoven came from “various credible sources”, such as “his lovers, students, teachers, anthropologists, historians, and authors”.
“Wide, thick-lipped mouth, short, thick nose, and proudly arch forehead.”
We don’t honestly know if Beethoven is black because there were no photographs or DNA tests to prove that he is black.
That didn’t stop Twitter from running with the information and making jokes about it.
