Michael Bennett, like some of us, rolled his eyes when Roger Goodell released a recorded statement, giving his support towards ending police brutality and giving his public support to players who want to silently protest. Goodell also admitted the league didn’t listen to its players in 2016, when the protests were rampant across the league.
Bennett further elaborated on why he doesn’t believe Goodell should be getting any sort of praise for the statement, and said the players must continue the fight using the platforms they have.
