I’m so sorry you don’t like people with platforms, discussing a movement to combat racism and injustice in America.
Omar Navarro, a politician who ran against Maxine Waters for a congressional seat in 2018, went to Twitter to demand a couple of prominent sports talk show personalities to “stick to sports”, instead of talking about the issues that are plaguing our country today.
I won’t go too far into this, since I don’t trust myself to keep it as PG-13 as possible on here. But I won’t walk away from this situation entirely, without giving my thoughts on it.
Mr. Navarro, shame on you. Shame on you for trying to appeal to a group of nuts who seemingly think nothing is wrong with this country. Shame on you for bashing a group of people, that have chosen to speak out against something that transcends the meaning of a touchdown, or a game winning basket, or a clutch hit, or a game changing goal. Shame on you for having that thought in your head, and still deciding to run with it.
Shame on you for being an ignorant buffoon.
Can’t stand this type of crap.
I’m so so sorry, that you can’t pull your head out, and truly see what matters most during times like these. Screw sports right now, people are dying my man.
Weirdos man, weirdos.
