Texas DB BJ Foster Broke His Hand Punching His Car

The college football season is very much in doubt as universities across the nation attempt to figure out the path back to normal academic and athletic activity amid COVID-19 and the steady rise of cases in most states.

While the time off almost surely preserves most players and cuts down the risk of sustaining an injury, for BJ Foster and his temper that wasn’t the case.

After discovering that his vehicle was the victim in a minor hit and run incident where the car sustained bumper damage, BJ Foster took his frustrations out on the already battered vehicle by striking it with his fists, a move he likely regrets.

The lapse in judgment on BJ Foster’s part left the Longhorns DB with a fractured hand and a life lesson that cars are not the ideal sparring partners if you want to practice your Philly Shell attack.

Hand fractures typically take around 3 weeks to heal so BJ Foster, barring any setbacks will be available to start the season, but his Coach Tom Herman may have a chat with him at some point about properly channeling that anger on the football field instead of automobiles.

Flip through the pages to see a few tweets following the news of BJ Foster’s run-in with his own car.
