Patrick Mahomes has been speaking out strongly against racism, police brutality, and supporting Black Lives Matter.
Mahomes was the main player that caused Roger Goodell to do videos in his basement apologizing to black people and saying Black Lives Matter aloud.
Mahomes has also said he is going to be at the forefront of change and protest.
Here he is once again making a strong statement about why Drew Brees hurt the movement via TMZ Sports.
“Obviously, his statement missed the point and missed what was going on in the world today,” Mahomes said, “and took away attention from the movement that was going on and the peaceful protesting that was going on.”
He states that he believes Brees is a good person and now is on the right side of history.
