Every year, Madden releases ratings for their new game, and fans across the country go to Twitter and voice their harsh criticism of said ratings. Whether it’s a player’s rating being too low, or a team’s rating being too high, everyone is bound to waste their time and complain about it on Twitter.
In this case, Giants fans lost their minds when Madden revealed Saquon Barkley’s rating for Madden 21. You know how I just said people waste their time complaining about ratings in a video game? Yeah, let me make an exception.
Barkley’s initial rating was an 89, which is absolutely criminal for someone of his talent and skill level. Twitter was flooded with tweets that were anything but positive, and ultimately, those same tweets led the charge to getting Barkley’s horrible rating upgraded.
Twitter has its moments where I wish the app never existed, but it also has its perks like these.
