Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliot decided to take a shot at Michigan’s football program. The former Ohio State Buckeye chimed in on social media about Michigan football head coach Jim Harbaugh accusing Ohio State of breaking coach rules.
Elliot tweeted “Snitches get stitches” referring to the hard-hitting tackles from the defensive line of his Alma matter.
The Ohio State and Michigan rivalry is unlike any other rivalry in college that comes with tension and bragging rights. When the action is left on the gridiron, these two well know powerhouses are scheduled to meet in October unless COVID-19 says otherwise. Ryan Day wasn’t having any of Harbaugh’s accusations and voiced his opinion as any head coach would.
According to ESPN’s Mark Schlabach, Day reportedly told Ohio State players that Michigan should hope for a mercy rule this year because the Buckeyes were “going to hang 100 on them,”
Last year in November, the Ohio State Buckeyes trounced the Michigan Wolverines in a 56-27 win and finished the season with a 13-1 overall record. Ryan Day wouldn’t be as worried since this matchup is just the beginning before football is back.
