Fans surrounded the great NBA legend Earvin “Magic” Johnson after he departed from a yacht valued at $150 million off the Croatian harbor Sunday night. This night wasn’t just like any night, but a night Johnson will definitely remember.
People who witnessed Johnson during his glory days capture five NBA champions for the Los Angeles Lakers in the 1980s’ were in attendance screaming and surrounding the NBA Hall of Famer. Young basketball fans who also might have been taught their basketball history decided to crowd Johnson and pose for selfies in the midst. Johnson was accompanied by his wife Cookie Johnson.
No security was alongside Johnson given the proper protocol on wearing masks was heavily ignored. When Johnson comes to town with a smile, who can honestly think about safety? This is an established businessman who can light up any room he walks in given his presence.
Hopefully, the greatest NBA point guard and passer of all-time teach these fans a lesson on not potentially passing around the coronavirus when in large groups. If the 60-year-old came fresh in some Gucci attire, you can only imagine if it was the 1980s’ all over again when it came to his choice of outfits off the court.
Considering Magic beat HIV, I can understand why he might feel invincible.
