The Attorney General of South Dakota, Jason Ravnsborg has been caught in a lie that could land him in jail.
Saturday Ravnsborg reported that he hit a deer with his car but that’s definitely not what happened. In actuality, he hit a 56 year old man and ended up killing him.
According to Daily Mail, Ravnsborg was coming back from a Republican fundraiser when he hit the man who has been identified as Joseph Boever. He did call 911 but lied to them about what happened.
The body was found 22 hours later and his family says they were trying hide the story saying.
‘My worst fear is that they’re trying to get ducks in a row to absolve the attorney general of any wrongdoing,’
Boever had gotten into a wreck earlier in the day and had made plans to get it fixed the next day but made the decision to go back to the truck that night.
