Leading up to Kevin Durant’s highly talked about free agency last summer, the New York Knicks were seen as a strong candidate to land the now Brooklyn Nets star forward.
However, as the season came and went, rumors started to fly that Durant was more likely to join the crosstown rivals in Brooklyn. As we all know, Durant joined Kyrie Irving in Brooklyn, and both will be leading a likely front runner in the Eastern Conference next season.
Knicks fans weren’t and still aren’t happy about Durant’s choice, but Durant apparently doesn’t care one bit. In fact, he could care less about what Knicks fans have to say about him right about now.
Durant went on Joe Budden’s podcast to talk some basketball, and he laid the hammer down on Knicks fans.
