When LA rap legend and activist Nipsey Hussle was killed in March 2019, people used his death as a way to make a profit off the web selling his obituaries for $2500 or more.
It’s been over a year going on two and black folks still didn’t learn their lesson.
Nipsey’s brother, Samiel Asghedom, had enough of the Crips LLC taking advantage of Nip’s famous slogan. “Blacc Sam” filed a lawsuit on behalf of the slogan “The Marathon Continues” used by the Crips LLC.
TMZ reported “The estate is seeking monetary damages and a judgment directing the company to destroy any merch the Crips org has made with the trademarks.”
Not all Crips are cool and a truce is indefinite when playing with a man’s legacy. No need for Minister Louis Farrakhan to intervene because legal battles in the courtroom are reasonable.
