Let’s be honest here, outside of Deshaun Watson, what rising head coaching candidate would want to take over this football team?. The team is 0-4, have no answers for their struggles on the defensive side of the ball, and their franchise quarterback has to run for his life each and every Sunday in order to give his team a chance.
Not only that, the genius Bill O’Brien traded away Houston’s 2020 1st AND 2nd round draft picks, leaving them with not a lot of wiggle room to make improvements via the draft. To add some more negativity, the Texans are spending a whopping $255M for the 2020 season.
Seriously, that entire franchise is a mess right now.
However, despite the mess that is currently rearing it’s ugly head in Houston, some lucky fellow will fall in love with the chance to coach Deshaun Watson, and do the best they can to bring this franchise out of the ashes.
