Speculation of an NBA season returning in December is still pending.
While Danny Green spoke to the Ringer on behalf of the Lakers potentially missing the first month, a new date could be the final option.
Fans are tired of the NBA prolonging the start and one thing for certain is Kevin Durant will benefit if January is the tip-off.
For the average fan, the opportunity to get back to a normal site instead of attending virtually would make the wait worth it. If December is the key date, players will assume the league cares about generating money and not the recovery of athletes’ injuries/health.

Dec.22 was the ideal start that would set a 72 game schedule ending before the July Olympics stated by Kevin O’ Connor of The Ringer.
