Dallas rapper Mo3 was tragically murdered on Wednesday while on the highway.
Video surfaced of someone trying to give him CPR but was pronounced dead once he arrived at a local hospital.
Police have now given an update on what happened saying,
“The victim stopped his vehicle on the freeway at which time the suspect exited his vehicle and began approaching the victim,” an officer told the press. “The victim then got out of his vehicle and began running southward on the interstate. The suspect, who was armed with a firearm, began firing several rounds at the victim, striking him.”
Police also said that a second person was hit during the shooting but they don’t think those wounds are life threatening.
They haven’t yet released who they think the suspects are or what a motive was. Also say they aren’t ruling anything out.
