Out of the 143 people who Donald Trump pardoned prior to his exit out of the White House, Death Row co-founder Harry O photo surfaced online.
Alice Marie Johnson told The Daily Beast, “The president knows how much this case means to me… In reviewing Michael Harris’ case, his story, and what he’s gone through, this is such an unfair case… He should have been home a decade ago. I really felt for this man. I am very hopeful that he will be home before the end of the Trump administration.”
Harris was incarcerated since the late 1980s’ and he’s happy to have his freedom back as a Black man.
A majority of his life was taken away and now that he’s back in the world during COVID-19 and racism, hopefully he spends time with those who are truly there for him.
