I think Kyrie does a lot of great work off the court, but there is no way I’d like him be involved in the decision-making of my franchise.
He isn’t the most reliable or consistent person, so I can understand why the Nets just didn’t hand over all the controls to him.
He made it pretty clear after Steve Nash was hired that he wasn’t a fan of the hiring. He said he didn’t need a coach, that he could coach himself.
New reports are he is still upset over that and he isn’t talking to Kevin Durant.
Everyone knew this was a possibility with Kyrie. It is just something the Nets are going to have to deal with.
