Big man DeMarcus Cousins was released by the Houston Rockets earlier according to The Athletic.
Cousins is a career 20.8 point-per-game scorer who had a season-high 28 points against the Dallas Mavericks last month.

1-year deals will be offered to Cousins who averaged 9 points this season with no system built around him to be the primary scorer.
