Jimmy Butler & Kendrick Nunn Surprise Lakers In 96-94 Heat Win

Last season the Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Miami Heat in Game 6 of the NBA Finals to capture their 17th NBA title.

The Heat edged the Lakers in a 96-94 win on Saturday after Jimmy Butler’s leadership capabilities clicked at the right moment.

The 2020 NBA Finals rematch brought back the two teams in a game where LeBron James had a quiet night scoring 19 points.

James was shy of a triple-double and the Lakers weren’t enough with Kyle Kuzma 23 points.

Laker’s big man Montrezl Harrell scored 18 points and grabbed 10 rebounds.

The Heat are currently on a two-game winning streak and are seven games back of an NBA Playoff spot.

Butler and Kendrick Nunn combined for 51 points in a collective team effort with the Heat outscoring the Lakers 52-38 in the post.
