For some reason, older ex-athletes love to bash the current athletes in their sport. Even if it’s for something they’ve done before.
The latest is former Packers QB Brett Favre.
Favre recently commented on the Deshaun Watson situation in Houston and he had a lot of criticism about the way Watson was handling it saying
“I’m kind of old school, You get paid a ton of money to do a certain job and just do it and let the chips fall where they may. I think we make too much money to voice an opinion, but I’m not saying he’s wrong. I think it’s a different day and time, and it’ll be interesting to see how the organization handles it.”
The comment is a little weird because it’s kind of the same exact thing he did when he was playing.
Of course, after seeing the video, Twitter obviously had to let him know how hypocritical his statements were.
