Lil Nas X sent the internet into a frenzy after the recent announcement of his Air Max 97 “Satan Shoes”. Some loved the shoes(weird), while others bashed the idea calling it crazy and a waste of time(me included).
One of the well-known critics of the shoe is Jon Jones, who went to Twitter to explain what he plans to do with his Nike shoes as a result of the Satan shoes being announced. Jones then was informed that Nike had nothing to do with the shoe, and are in fact suing Lil Nas X for a trademark violation in relation to the shoes.
Jones then expressed his relief that Nike wasn’t involved with the controversial shoes and went about his day.
I am not saying either are good role models, but Jon Jones really can’t speak on ethical grounds considering his history of drug use and being arrested.
Wild times indeed.
