Once upon a time, the New England Patriots possessed one of the best 1-2 punches in all of football. It wasn’t a QB-WR connection, it wasn’t anything like that.
It was the combo of Rob Gronkowski and Aaron Hernandez that terrorized defenses across the league.
But we all know how that turned out.
Hernandez was found guilty on murder charges, sent to jail, and later died while in prison. Numerous ex-teammates of Hernandez have came out and spoke about him over the years, all telling stories from his time on the team and expressing sadness at how Hernandez’s situation turned out.
However, up until now we never got Gronkowski’s thoughts on the entire ordeal. Gronkowski was on the 10 Questions podcast with Kyle Brandt when he finally opened up about his ex-teammate and friend.
