Texans QB Deshaun Watson’s legal troubles seem to be getting worse as he now has 19 women who are suing him for sexual assault and inappropriate conduct.
There could be more coming also.
The Texans made a statement when the allegations first came out but no one from the team has really spoken out until now. GM Nick Caserio recently spoke with the Texans All Access podcast and said that they are taking the situation very seriously and also says
“We’re certainly cognizant and aware,” Caserio told the Texans All Access podcast. “We made a statement at the beginning about where the organization stood. I would say it’s a legal situation, it’s a legal process, so we’re certainly respectful of that.
“We certainly take them very seriously. The allegations, what’s been discussed, are certainly troubling. And organizationally that’s not something that we can condone, that we condone, those types of actions.”
There are a lot of people that believe the Texans are paying the women to sue Watson after he asked to be traded. The situation is ongoing and it’s probably best for everyone to just let it play out.
