Don’t do it, Nate Robinson! Don’t do it!
TMZ Sports has learned that Nate Robinson is angling for a rematch with Jake Paul and wants Floyd Mayweather to train him,
What people didn’t know was the former NBA player and two-time Slam Dunk champion made upwards $2 million after he got knocked out by Paul in November 2020. This would be true IF Nate had a % of the PPV buys.
For people who want to know how that works here is some simple math.
Let’s say you are guaranteed $500k for a fight and $1 for every PPV buy over a million. If the PPV does 1.5 million PPV buys you net an extra $500k.
That is why Jake Paul is celebrating today because he is claiming his PPV with Ben Askren will do over 1.5 million buys. He was guaranteed $600k, so he stands to make a lot more depending on how much of a cut he negotiated of the PPV. Say he negotiated $5 for every PPV buy over a million, now he has made an extra $2.5 million. If he negotiated $5 every PPV buy over 500k, now he is at $5 million, so I would be happy too if i was him.
