Brooklyn Nets forward Blake Griffin was spotted last night in some fresh new custom Jordans the “McLovin” 35s or as some people are calling them on social media, the “McGriffin” 35s.
Blake Griffin went all out on these custom Jordans. The Hawaii drivers’ license paid homage to the 2007 classic film “Superbad” where one of the main characters, Fogell gets a fake ID. In the movie, Fogell decides to change his name on the ID to “McLovin” and has supplemented its place in pop culture history as a meme and one big joke.
Blake Griffin’s custom shoes were very detailed as he included his actual information that you would see on a normal driver’s license besides the address which is actually the address of Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, which means these shoes were made well before his trade to Brooklyn. Blake Griffin even changed his name on the shoe to McGriffin.
