Drake’s Son Adonis Steals the Show at the BBMA’s

There was one point where we barely saw any of Drake’s son Adonis, but now we see him often like in a video of Drake teaching him basketball to most recently last night when he burst into tears on stage at the Billboard Music Awards.

Drake was being honored for his Billboard chart dominance throughout the 2010s being only the third award winner ever with Eminem (2000s) and Mariah Carey (1990s) being the other two winners of the award.

Drake was presented the award by the whole OVO Team and his parents before walking on stage with his son. Drake shares a little tidbit of his journey and why he continues to strive for greatness despite all the awards and acclaim.

Even if I do a good job, I always wonder how I could have done it better,” the 34-year-old musician explained at the annual ceremony. “I rarely celebrate anything.

As Drake addressed the star-studded audience at LA’s Microsoft Theater, Adonis — who he shares with former adult star Sophie Brussaux — clung onto his father’s legs while clutching the award.
Drake ended his speech by thanking his “beautiful family” and picking up a crying Adonis, and saying: “I want to dedicate this award to you.”

Drake has definitely had an illustrious career which includes accolades like eight numbers 1’s on the Billboard 100 chart, six UK number 1’s, and four Grammy Awards.

Pretty impressive Mr. Graham.
