Kwame Brown didn’t live up to the expectations of being the #1 pick, even he would agree with that.
The issue is he did play 10+ years in the league and while he wasn’t Hakeem Olajuwon he did carve out a niche for himself and was one of the top 200 players in the world. As Jalen Rose tried to explain to Skip Bayless and Stephen A. Smith in this old video, if you are comparing Brown to Shaq he would be a scrub, but if you are comparing him to all the players in the league he was just a regular solid if not spectacular player.
That doesn’t make him a Bonafide scrub and lowkey Jalen was telling them since they both played basketball and never achieve anything near what Kwame did on the court maybe they should find better words to use with their critiques.
Jalen has always been a real one.
