Rob Riggle has accused his estranged wife of planting a hidden camera in his home, hacked his Apple account, and took upwards of $28K in cash from him.
His estranged wife Tiffany, had filed for divorce from the 51-year-old actor back in October after 21 years of marriage as she cited ‘irreconcilable differences at the time.
However, things began to get very weird after the filing as $28,000 from his own home office went missing and he began to feel like he was being watched according to court documents obtained by TMZ on Monday.
According to reports, Riggle who has been staying at their smaller home while Tiffany stays with their two children in the main family home claims the actor had confronted his estranged wife about the missing money but she denied knowing anything about it.
It is around the same time that Riggle alleged that Tiffany had also hacked into his apple account and downloaded his emails, texts, contacts, and photos.
Riggle even went so far as to set up a misinformation scheme to see if any of that info would leak out and his suspicions were proven true.
According to the documents obtained by TMZ, Rob had his home swept of any surveillance or electronic devices back in April and claims to have found over 10,000 videos with sound and even a video of his wife installing the system which he claims she put back in August of 2020.
Riggle also claims there is a video of Tiffany on the floor counting the alledged $28k that went missing in his home office.
Back in October, Tiffany filed for divorce citing ‘irreconcilable differences after 21 years of marriage. The couple reportedly separated as early as May of last year.
Riggle has been granted a temporary restraining order against Tiffany and another hearing is set in July about his request for a forensic expert to go through all the alleged spy footage.
It’s crazy how the pandemic exposed a lot of people’s marriages being faulty after being forced to live with each other every day for months. Hope their nasty divorce dispute works out for both parties.
