LeBron James is without question the most polarizing NBA player of our generation who took the leap of perfecting his craft.
The Los Angeles Lakers will host the Phoenix Suns on Thursday at Staples Center with the hopes of forcing a Game 7 to keep their season alive.
James has been in this predicament in 2012 as a Miami Heat player in the Eastern Conference Finals vs. the Boston Celtics. However, his epic 3-1 comeback in 2016 leading the Cleveland Cavaliers over a 73-9 Golden State Warriors roster still remains one of the most memorable moments in sports history.
In 2013, the San Antonio Spurs were up 3-2 in Miami with James going on a scoring run to bring the game within reach down the stretch. It wasn’t until Ray Allen hit a three-pointer in the right corner to save their season.
There’s not pressure on James to perform at a high level because he’ll likely try to get his teammates acclimated into the offense.
It’s the belief that James needs Anthony Davis to win and with Chris Paul hungry for a championship with a young core…he won’t back down.
