Lil Baby’s run over the last year has definitely been memorable and epic. In February 2020, he put out his sophomore album, “My Turn,” which debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart. That was led by hits such as “Woah,” “Sum 2 Prove,” and “We Paid” feat. 42 Dugg on the deluxe edition. This year, he scored his second number one, with his “The Voice Of The Heroes” collab album with Lil Durk.
The Quality Control Music rapper is earning praise from everyone lately, including Fat Joe. Joe recently appeared on Complex Brackets, and broke down “Big Money Anthems,” with B. Dot. During that interview, he showed Baby a lot of love, by going as far as saying that he’s the best rapper of this generation.
“In the newer generation, here’s no one better than Lil Baby right now,” Joe explained. “We’ve seen all this. We, as Hip Hop historians, we saw when Lil Wayne emerged, we saw when Eminem emerged and Lil Baby is in a lane by himself right now.”
Joe explained that DJ Khaled played him a new Baby song a few nights ago, and he was even more impressed from that point. Flip the page to watch Joe give Baby his flowers.
