O.J. Simpson had a lot to address in his recent video on Twitter.
The Juice first touched on the recent announcement from Raiders Defensive End Carl Nassib that he is gay. O.J. said more power to Nassib and even dropped a gem stating that he has played with gay players during his time in the NFL back in the 70s.
Aye [Nassib], more power to you, man. That’s terrific. The $100,000 that you donated to that charity is just over the top. That’s really something special. You know, over the years people have asked me ‘Hey man, did you play with gay athletes?’ Of course, I did. They’re everywhere in every profession. It’s no different in football as there would be in whatever. You know, postoffice workers or police officers, any profession, you have it. I mean they may not come out. But, they are there. Trust me.
Then Oj came around and touched on Transgender weightlifter Laurel Hubbard, but he wasn’t quite as understanding saying she shouldn’t be allowed to compete with women at the Olympics.
They’re allowing [Laurel] Hubbard, the weightlifter-transgender-female weight lifter, to compete in the Olympics. Now that’s, as far as I’m concerned, wrong. [S]He was born biologically a guy. Men are biologically stronger, faster, and in most cases have more endurance than females. Now that’s not my opinion, just look at all the record books. That’s just the way it is.
