Over the weekend, the Bucks and Nets met in one of the most exciting Game 7s in history. This was in the Eastern Conference semis, in Brooklyn, where the Nets were expected to close it out at home. Kevin Durant went off as usual, as he totaled 48 points, nine rebounds, and six assists.
KD went on to take a one-point lead with one second left, after hitting a turnaround jumper. The problem was that his foot was on the line, and that was soon changed to a tie heading into overtime. Then, KD air balled the last shot, to seal the win for Milwaukee.
Today on Undisputed, Shannon Sharpe discussed with Skip Bayless the “best player in the world” title that people have been giving KD. He cited how this can’t be the case though, with the mistakes that KD committed in the series. Brooklyn was up 2-0, and in Game 7, KD shot 0-6.
These are fair points, but KD is definitely still in that debate, but many others agree with Sharpe here. Flip the page to watch Shannon Sharpe make his case on why he doesn’t deserve that title, at the moment, along with Twitter reactions.
