The socialite daughter-in-law of British billionaire Lord Michael Ashcroft confessed Monday to allegedly shooting a top cop in Belize killing the man after she was threatened with being charged for cocaine. Hartin claims it was a complete accident.
Jasmine Hartin, who was denied bail, originally claimed that the San Pedro Superintendent Henry Jemmott had been shot dead early Friday by someone else from a passing boat, police told 7 News Belize.
Hartin, who is Canadian and lives in Belize with her Husband Lord Ashcroft’s son, said she had been giving the top cop a massage while they were drinking together on a pier when she accidentally shot him while handing him his service Glock pistol. He then fell on here and panicked to get him off, his body fell in the water, where it was found, police said.
I don’t know about you, but this sounds like a strange turn of events from massaging your bodyguard to all of a sudden accidentally shooting him. Many would ask why was she giving him a massage in the first place and if there was anyone else around.
