Last night at UFC 264, Former NFL star, Greg Hardy, suffered a very awful loss to Tai Tuivasa in the first round. It was over in just 67 seconds, as he ran into a nasty counter shot, that ended it all. Hardy has now lost two fights in a row, both by knockout and TKO. This is after previously having a two-fight win streak in 2020.
With Hardy losing three out of five though, UFC President Dana White isn’t too optimistic about where Hardy’s future stands as of now.
“Tonight was a big night for him – tonight was a really big night,” White said in a press conference after Hardy’s loss. “Tai Tuivasa would’ve been a real win for him, so I don’t know what this means for him tonight.”
Hardy had originally joined UFC in 2018, as he won his first three fights. His record now stands at 7-4 and could be losing more opportunities, after the disastrous results of his last two matches. Hardy previously played in the NFL from 2010-2015 but ended up dealing with a domestic violence case, which many remember, and are glad that he got knocked out last night, due to that.
