Last season, the Patriots didn’t have the season they wanted at all. They finished the regular season at 7-9, and missed the playoff for the first time since 2008. Cam Newton struggled at times at QB, and this was also the case for WR N’Keal Harry. Harry totaled 33 receptions for 309 yards and two touchdowns in 14 games, and now wants out of New England.
According to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo, Harry’s agent, Jamal Tooson, released a statement, detailing that the WR wants this trade. He explained that he’s been trying to put plans together for Harry in these last several months to “thrive” in NE, he now believes it’s time for a “fresh start” for both parties.
Tooson added that Harry still has high expectations for himself, and they will continue to pursue success for him. NE also has a QB situation to figure out, between Cam Newton, Jarrett Stidham, and rookie Mac Jones. Flip the page for Jamal Tooson’s full statement on N’Keal Harry.
