People are being stupid when talking about Giannis.
He’s a once in a lifetime player and is extremely likable. Oh and his on the court play speaks for itself. Especially after putting up 50 points in a closeout game in the NBA Finals.
Fox Sports Emmanuel Acho is one of those people being stupid. While talking about Giannis after their championship win, he says that Giannis couldn’t be the face the the league because he isn’t relatable and we don’t know much about him like his mom’s or kids names.
It’s a dumb statement because one, we don’t need to know much about him because that doesn’t matter when you’re the face of the league. Two, we know a lot about Giannis. Everyone knows how he and his family struggled in Greece. We know he’s lost his father. He’s gone on IG live to give fans an insight into his life with his girlfriend plenty of times also. He’s extremely relatable.
That mixed with him being likable but also polarizing is why he could be the new face of the league.
