NBA Youngboy has been back in jail again since late March, as he was taken into federal custody by LAPD. At the time, he had a warrant out for his arrest, for gun charges dating back to last September. Youngboy was caught at a traffic stop in LA, where he soon attempted to flee on foot. He ended up being caught by a K-9.
Youngboy was hit with gun charges, which went down at a video shoot in his hometown of Baton Rouge, at the time, in September. Now, it he still won’t have any chance at bond before his upcoming trial. According to AllHipHop, United States Magistrate Judge Scott D. Johnson has stated that “no condition or combination of conditions would reasonably assure the safety of the community,” regarding Youngboy.
Johnson added that the charges on the table are enough to keep the Louisiana rapper incarcerated. They are one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and one count of possession of a firearm not registered on the National Firearms Registration and Transfer Record. Youngboy was also labeled as a flight risk, back in April.
Johnson also cited how Youngboy trying to run from police in LA is being “inclined towards reckless illegal and dangerous behavior.”
Photos have also been revealed by the feds, of Youngboy flashing guns with his crew at the 2020 video shoot. He was also seen holding a gun with a 10-year-old boy. Flip the pages for those.
