Last night in Atlanta, Kanye West held his “Donda” album listening event. This went down at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, home of the Falcons. Tickets were available to be sold to fans, as it was a sold-out and historic event. Fans in the building were impressed with some of the collabs on this project, as Ye included features from Lil Baby, Jay Z, Pusha T, and more.
Donda didn’t release as planned at midnight on streaming outlets, but fans in attendance simply loved the fact that they witnessed history. One of the downsides of the event though was the very expensive food prices. These were seen at the suite areas of the stadium, as some of the expensive items seen were $50 for chicken tenders and $65 for an assorted snack basket.
Many weren’t surprised, due to Kanye charging heavily for his sneakers and clothing. This did catch others off guard though, due to Mercedes-Benz Stadium having one of the cheapest concession prices in sports and entertainment. The possibility could be that the prices for the food in the suite were handled by Kanye.
