The NFL is sitting tight on what the plan is with Deshaun Watson.
Watson reported to camp so he wouldn’t get fined but immediately told everyone when he got there he wanted out.
His QB coach says he expects a trade to go down immediately.
“I’m 100% sure he’ll be traded at some point in the coming future,” Avery said on The Adam Schefter Podcast. “I think the Texans have made the decision to move on. He doesn’t want to be there, they’re ready to move on; all they’re waiting for is fair market value for him, and they’ll get a lot.”
There doesn’t seem to be a settlement on the horizon for Watson who is being accused by 22 IG massage therapists of inappropriate behavior.
Because of that teams are trying to lowball the Texans who want five high draft picks in return for Watson.
The Eagles seem most eager to make the trade, but not willing to give up that much.
