The Late Stuart Scott’s Legacy: A Legend Who Paved The Way For Blacks in Industry

There wouldn’t be no ESPN if it wasn’t for the man who cultivated sports in away where Black people could be themselves.

A Black man with the southern-Baptist style catch phrases like “cool as the other side of the pillow.”

Today the late Stuart Scott would’ve turned 56 if he was alive via Ballislife.

It’s sad because Scott missed out on some of the greatest basketball played along with witnessing Golden State Warriors dominate run.

Sometimes I wonder what Scott had to endure as Black man when it came to how he wanted to display news to the public in contrast to what ESPN wanted.

ESPN don’t bring them like Scott anymore because it’s rare to see authentic greatness on camera.
