Kodak Black went viral over the past week, as a clip surfaced of him throwing $100,000 into the ocean. Many bashed him online, as they viewed this as a complete waste of money, and a move that should’ve been done to help others in need. Now, the Broward County rapper is doing just that.
According to TMZ, Kodak gave back to his hometown of Broward County this weekend, by giving out 100 AC units for $12,500. These were for families in his old Golden Acres neighborhood, in Pompano Beach. Kodak knocked on doors, and brought tons of smiles to families, who definitely needed these AC units in the hot summer weather, in South Florida.
Kodak ended up making this move happen in partnership with Francky Pierre, of Philanthropic Work and Outreach. Kodak has been charitable work, even before he was pardoned of his prison sentence. He helped families out for Thanksgiving and Christmas, offered to cover tuition for children of two FBI agents that were killed, and also offered a scholarship in Meadow Pollack’s name, one of the 2018 Parkland shooting victims.
