In Atlanta, the murder of Miriam Abdulrab has been trending heavily on social media lately. Friends and people close to her have been posting tributes, as her body was found with gunshot wounds, on Lakewood Avenue.
At the time, Abdulrab was dating 27-year-old Jerry Antoine. He is also a rapper in Atlanta, who goes by Germ. Now, a 911 call has been released, as he revealed that Abdulrab was actually kidnapped from his home, as he saw it unfold, while he was inside.
“My girlfriend just got out of a car and somebody just came and kidnapped her and left. I just watched her get kidnapped from in front of my house!”
At the time, Abdulrab was heading to Antoine’s house, and then, the kidnapping happened just as he was getting to the front of the home. The suspect ended up being IDed as 27-year-old DeMarcus Brinkley.
Brinkley was found by police, after being found in Griffin, GA, and crashing into another car. This was during a police chase. Shortly after being arrested, Brinkley was charged with murder, aggravated assault, false imprisonment, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
