It’s been no secret that Damien Lillard has been rumored to be traded to the Lakers since the beginning of this offseason and fans on Twitter are making it seem like a sure thing.
Dame had some time today to responded to a fan’s tweet reading, “How much y’all wanna bet that before the NBA season the lakers will STILL get Damian Lillard lol”. Well, Dame made it very clear that at least for now, that he doesn’t want to be on the Lakers.
“Bet A Million”, Lillard in response to a fan comes a day after Damian Lillard sent a cryptic message on Instagram about acting like a “fool” on purpose.
Lillard seems to be contempt in Portland as it is getting more and more likely that he will be with the Blazers for at least the beginning of the season. He also may just not be interested in playing on the LeBron James Lakers.
If the TrailBlazers were to struggle, you could possibly see a mid-season trade but we will have to wait to see what the future holds.
