Deshaun Watson is still a member of the Texans, but that may change soon. The Dolphins are supposedly one of the teams interested in trading for the QB, despite many sexual misconduct lawsuits against him. Miami looks like they may be willing to give up a lot in this trade as well.
After the Dolphins’ 29-26 win over the Bengals on Sunday, HC Brian Flores was asked if he was interested in acquiring the Pro Bowl QB. Flores said that he is “interested in the players that are on our team.”
Flores added that “reports, speculation are not things we really get into.” Discussions regarding trades will also be discussed in-house only.
Joe Schad of The Palm Beach Post also added that Flores is very confident in Tua Tagovailova at QB.
“I am very confident in Tua. He has done a lot of good things. He has played well. My conversations with a player are going to remain between me and that player.”
Here is what should be noted, Flores never answered the question.
The question was were the Dolphins were interested or not. He never denied it, which lets you know the rumors of them looking into are 100% true.
Now he can’t say that aloud, and that is why he talked around the questions. The STREETS are saying that Watson will be traded this week, hell or high water.
The question begs if he is traded, will the team that trades for him play him immediately?
It is a good question, and we will have our answer sooner than later.
